Better Schools Partnership Executive Summary

The Better Schools Partnership® (BSP) is a proven strategy that will enable schools to integrate resources and assets, and satisfy the renewal needs of school boards.

Although the BSP has its roots in Energy Performance Contracting, the new model generates greater value for schools by focusing on classroom performance, rather than merely energy performance. BSP concentrates on converting as much of a board's utilities budget as possible into school renewal. The more energy savings produced, the more renewal a school can achieve. The end results are impressive: better academic performance, enrolment growth, improved teacher retention and greater student and parent satisfaction.
