EarthCARE Design Team Make Plans for HPEDSB

The Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board EarthCARE Design Team met early in the school year to make plans for both staff and students involved with this project.
Training will take on similar look to last year with a differentiated approach this fall. Several training opportunities will be offered including: New teacher training,
Secondary Networking and Elementary training. Again this year, a Moira student leadership team will take a role in the trainings and hopefully individual school needs will be better served.
To encourage activities and events throughout the school year, each individual school will be asked to goal set and plan a monthly calendar of activities. During the
spring months school teams be involved with the annual audit and Earth Day celebrations. Several possible projects include a media contest; participation in Stream of Dreams a programme offered
in partnership with Quinte Conservation; and Change for the Environment.
It looks like HPEDSB has great plans for making a difference!
