The EarthCARE Audit

Audit data show that the HPEDSB saved $208,200 in 08/09 with EarthCARE - view a detailed summary of EarthCARE's year-over-year audit results.

The EarthCARE audit is an annual activity in which participating schools measure the effectiveness of the energy conservation, waste reduction, and water conservation initiatives that are part of the EarthCARE program. The audit report was developed to measure two areas:

• Quantitative measurements in the three areas of energy, water, and waste
• Qualitative assessments of the participation of the school occupants in the EC activities
