Harmony P.S. Students Promoting EarthCARE in the HPEDSB

On Tuesday Oct. 18th, the Student Leadership of Harmony Public School got together with Mrs. Ford and organized EarthCARE bags for all the schools in the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board. We divided 8 different items into bags for each of the schools. Some of the EarthCARE products were key chains, yo-yos, frisbees, pencils, bookmarks, tattoos, notepads, and carabineers. The EarthCARE products are used to remind students and our school community to be more energy efficient. We do this to conserve hydro and to protect the environment. Also, this saves schools thousands of dollars. The EarthCARE project helps with 'MUSH' (Municipalities, Universities, Schools and Hospitals). You can help the EarthCARE Organization by not littering and being an environment steward.
