Kente P.S. Rocks!

This fall, each student at Kente Public School planted a pink tulip bulb which we hope will spell out the letters "Kente P.S. Rocks" in the spring. This was an EarthCARE initiative which aims to integrate environmental education across the curriculum.

Thank you to Catherine Blakely (Kente's EarthCARE Team Leader), Marcie Warren (Teacher) and parent volunteers JoAnne Waters, Sharon Osterhout and Jan Nightingale for organizing and carrying out the planting of the bulbs on the front lawn on Monday, November 1st. We hope this initiative will instill in students an appreciation of the wonders and beauty of the Earth.
