Training Sessions for Hastings and Prince Edward District Lead Hands

Fifty-two Lead Hands in the Hastings & Prince Edward District School Board received training in leadership skills and working with people on December 5th and 6th. Judy Turriff and Doris Davidson facilitated the workshops. Using the job description and different activities, participants discovered their preferred leadership styles and how to be an effective leader. The second portion of the 3-hour workshop focused on working with people in the schools to make every day a great day at work. The Lead Hands learned to identify needs for various situations, discussed and resolved several case studies, and left with an assignment for their follow-up session in March.

Once again, Judy, Doris, and Rose-Marie enjoyed the time with these dedicated, interested, and interesting staff members. It is our great pleasure to work with them.
