They're LOCO at Moira!

Several fun activities have occured at Moira Secondary School. During "GO LOCO" week, the song "Locomotion" was piped through the school while the students danced through the halls, flipping off lights and computers. During another week called the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Blitz Week", the focus was on the three Rs. Anyone caught properly reducing, reusing, and recycling was awarded a prize.

Costumed members of the EarthCARE team, "Tree Hugger and Enviro Guy" spread the word regarding LOCO and environmental issues, super hero style. Others got into the spirit as the Geoventure class and other interested participants helped out in the community with the Trash Bash on Earth Day!
