Elementary Poster Contest a Success!

Thank you to our judges, Gail Brant, Principal of Susanna Moodie; Stacey Belanger, Principal of Harmony; and Kerry Donnell, Communications Officer for HPEDSB for their efforts in determining the winners of our first Board-wide Poster Contest.

The winner of our Primary Division, with the topic of 'Litterless Lunches', was a student from Prince of Wales. Her poster scored very high in Overall Impression, one of the many criteria for selection. Runners-up were students from Prince Charles, Belleville and from Queen Elizabeth, Belleville.

The winner of the Junior Division was a student from Prince of Wales P.S. Her message and colourful delivery set her submission apart. Runners-up were from Frankford Public School and from Stirling Jr.

Our Intermediate winner was an environmentally conscious student from Tyendinaga. She not only sent in a very colourful painting, she also attached a very sincere letter to Mother Earth with a promise not to pollute and always recycle. Runners-up included students from Prince of Wales and Frankford Public School.

Well done, to all our winners! A special thank you goes out to all of our participants. Your involvement in EarthCARE makes us proud!
