Under the direction of their EarthCARE team coordinator, Janet Lawrence the kindergarten to Grade 5 students at Prince Charles are building character and beautifying their school grounds. Tree planting and gardening with the addition of mums and tiger lilies are just the beginning. Principal Rogers says there is a strong link between character building and student stewardship. Asking students to assist in the planning process gives them an active voice and provides them with the opportunity to influence.

Principal Rogers, teacher Janet Lawrence and a student share in the excitement of EarthCARE t-shirt delivery day. Principal Rogers stated that the students will wear them proudly as a reminder to all that together we can make a difference!
