Poster contest encourages student interst in environmental issues!

Under the leadership of teacher, Carrie Szuks, the 9 student Ambassadors are working hard to encourage others to join in the challenge for a better environment. Projects for this school year have included:

• A poster contest that encouraged the participation of all students
• Each classroom received 2 blueboxes to accompany the smaller garbage bin. The labeled containers – Paper and Plastic were provided to assist with 'on the spot' sorting.
• The 8 EarthCARE Ambassadors have presented information to other classes regarding the school goal of enhanced Recycling. They answered the challenging question of "Why should we recycle?" and talked about the benefits for all in garbage reduction.

Great work Stirling, Primary and Junior…together we all can make a difference!
