TREES - A Happening Team at Prince Charles, Trenton!

Under the direction of Team Coordinator, Suzanne Coyle, the 18 person team at Prince Charles Public School in Trenton is well on its way to becoming a strong force in their work with environmental stewardship.

The team name represents their philosophy - TREES - Take Responsibility Ecologically Environmentally Seriously! With this goal they are working hard to promote environmental awareness. A "no recycling in the garbage" program is being launched. This involves the Custodian not picking up garbage that includes recycling; removing one garbage pail from each room and an instruction team visiting all classes to educate everyone on what is or is not garbage. Each classroom will have its own monitors for the program and awarding stewards of the environment in positive ways will keep everyone motivated and encouraged.

Keep up the great work, Prince Charles!
