Continuing Education Participates in the EarthCARE Audit

Anna Bowles, Principal of Continuing Education attended this spring's Team Training. She was impressed by the work being done by EarthCARE Teams in elementary and secondary schools to address energy, water and waste issues. Anna was particularly interested in the audit and the data that schools obtained by participating. Continuing Education operates out of one of the closed high school sites. A number of other programs operate in the same building. While not able to complete a full audit, Anna was able to have an audit of some of the spaces that the program does use.

Rose-Marie Batley, Executive Director of EarthCARE, was the head of the audit team for Continuing Education. The team was well received as they conducted the audit. Continuing Education will receive a "school audit report" with their results.
