EarthCARE in Action
Bark Lake

On May 3, 2008, EarthCARE was invited to present at the Ontario Society for Environmental
Education Conference at Bark Lake, Ontario. Rose-Marie Batley, Executive Director
of EarthCARE Canada and Doris Davidson, Project Coordinator for the Ottawa-Carleton
District School Board, presented the workshop. It was a wonderful opportunity
to introduce EarthCARE to educators from across the province and engage them
in discussions and activities on creating a culture for environmental stewardship
in their classrooms, schools and communities.
