Planning for the OCDSB EarthCARE Expo 2006

EarthCARE Expo 2006 will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Confederation High School in Ottawa. This year West Carleton Secondary School will be hosting the Expo. A committee, chaired by Glenn Turner on staff at West Carleton, has already begun to organize the event. Trevor Grills, also on staff at West Carleton, and Mike Pietowski, a fourth year student from Carleton University, are members of the committee. Students from West Carleton are also on the committee. Emma, a WCSS student, is excited to get started and is keen to have as many schools as possible get involved.

The competition criteria and judging criteria have already been sent to the schools. The categories include Poetry, Photography, Cartoon, Sculpture and Innovation. The speaker for the Expo has yet to be announced.
