All categories and all entries will be judged on a scale of 1 to 4 (1- does not fulfill criteria, 2- fulfills some criteria, 3- fulfills all criteria, 4- fulfills criteria and exceeds expectations).

Poetry:

• Evidence of expanded vocabulary in their writing
• Shows an awareness of the expressiveness of words in their choice of words
• Words selected are effective
• Conveys the theme

Still Photography:

• Photographic impact
• Technical skill
• Story telling

Cartoon:

• Effectiveness
• Appearance (composition, is it funny)

Sculpture:

• Creativity
• Can make music

Innovation:

• Creativity
