Meet the OCDSB EarthCARE Project
Coordinator
Doris Davidson, 2007 - present
Doris is a former principal in the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. Her last assignment was Principal of Special Education, and since her retirement in 2002 she has continued to work both as a principal and consultant.
For the last two years, Doris has worked with Judy Turriff (past EC Project Coordinator) to provide EarthCARE training in the Hastings & Prince Edward County District School Board. It is with pleasure that she fulfills the role of project coordinator for the OCDSB. It allows
her to continue working with staff and students.
Doris is excited to be part of an environmental stewardship program where you can see the difference you are making as evidenced in the annual audits. She is looking forward to working with the EarthCARE team leaders and principals on their EC initiatives and in sharing
their stories on the web.
Judy Turriff
Judy Turriff, 2004-2006
Judy was been actively involved in the EarthCARE program serving as Project
Coordinator for 2004-2005 and 2005-2006. As a principal, Judy worked in a
number of elementary schools in the Ottawa-Carleton district. She was Principal
of Program before being appointed to Superintendent of Schools. As a Superintendent,
Judy has had experience in a number of portfolios including School Operations,
Special Education, Personnel, Program and Staff Development, Continuing Education
and Facilities.
