the children were reading or doing their projects.
Yes they were active and they were friendly,

was filling up quickly
with apple cores and banana peels.
Meadow mice they feasted and it composted

See the mallards fly by
out on the playground
There’s Mr. Red Fox
and the rabbits all around
As the seasons pass by
While the children growing
