EarthCARE is all about protecting the planet for the right reasons.

Everyone involved realizes that the activities and efforts required to do this do not happen by chance and often are not the most convenient practices.

Both EarthCARE and the OCDSB want to recognize and reward those high performing schools that are influencing others to change behaviours so that the future of the planet is not compromised.

In order to make available funds to share with the schools, two things need to happen:

schools need to participate in the conservation of energy that provides the savings to share with the schools

schools need to demonstrate the level of their involvement and the potential for savings

The new audit and participation form will provide some of the information necessary to determine the savings potential and the level of involvement and impact a school's activities are having. Many of our schools are already at a very high level and are making a significant difference.

Our first step is to capture the impact of this involvement in order to determine the savings potential. This will enable EarthCARE to provide an EC rating for your school and assist in allocating the rewards. This can only happen with your help.

Thanks for participating in our spring audit!
