I have been working with purchasing in ensuring that any new contracts for drink machine include a mandatory Vending Miser. Vending Misers are making a positive impact on our environment. Each of these machines consumes an average of 3500 kWh per year or, at an average rate of $.08/kWh, $280 in electricity each year. Vending Misers Benefit the Environment � One VendingMiser reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 2200 lbs. of CO2 and 3600 grams of NOx each year. (Based on occupancy and the Environmental Information Administration�s national average of greenhouse gas emissions and electricity generation). Sound's to good to be true but they work. I am currently obtaining pricing and I will post all info as I receive it.
