Charles Hulse LOCO posters/the grade 5 class helped do the school audit
Agincourt- have a spirit day once a month the theme is always to do with the environment
Cambridge: has an active gardening program- they'll be planting flowers in big tubs around the school. The neighbours inthe area look after the plants and trees over the summer.

Leslie Park: door knob reminders on classroom doors to remember for LO/ looking at creating a butterfly garden
Bayview: wrote a play (a series of skits) and a Re-cycle Shuffle Song for an assembly- the whole school sings it
General Vanier- LOCO/student participation in the audit
Stittsville: see the article on the main web page
Sawmill Creek: have a section in the school newsletter on the environment/song developed about LOCO/ decorated grocery paper bags with EC messages for use by store for their customers
Emily Carr- solar car is being developed/ extensive work on the gardens aroung the school
Hopewell: students have done home energy audits/ encouraging parents to receive school newsleetter electonically (1/3 of parents do)

It was a great day with lots of good things happening. Congratulations to everyone!
